Our project is up and running and there is lots to report! I spent a busy month in Afghanistan in April setting up the Creative Arts Prison project with Bond Street Theatre and Simorgh Theatre in Herat -- and soon I will post my journal entries and observations from our intensive work together. Stay tuned!

- I am an actor, clown and teaching artist based in New York City. Loka Humana is the social outreach wing of my theater company Loka Maer, which consists of none other than myself at the moment. That is, I am Loka Humana. I have been clowning around since the day I was born my family would say, but artistically and professionally, one might say, I discovered clowning at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, where I studied all aspects of physical theater.
