Little children selling newspapers in the middle of traffic at ten o’clock at night. Breaks my heart. At the side of the road is the adult watching them and making sure they work (and taking all the money).

- I am an actor, clown and teaching artist based in New York City. Loka Humana is the social outreach wing of my theater company Loka Maer, which consists of none other than myself at the moment. That is, I am Loka Humana. I have been clowning around since the day I was born my family would say, but artistically and professionally, one might say, I discovered clowning at Ecole Jacques Lecoq, where I studied all aspects of physical theater.
